Poutapilvi sweater, pattern as a file

Poutapilvi (Fair-weather cloud) is a lightweight, versatile everyday sweater suitable for all seasons. It is knitted with slightly larger needles than usual to create an airy, relaxed fabric. Worked seamlessly from the top down, the pullover features raglan sleeves. The pattern is designed so that the yoke depth as well as the body and sleeve lengths can be easily adjusted to suit your own measurements. For the finishing touch, the pullover can be brushed to create a soft, fluffy texture—just like a fair-weather cloud.

Yarn:

3 (3, 3, 3) (4, 4, 5) 5 skeins of Vuonue Elsa, Rescue Elsa or Kierrätys Elsa. Elsa and Rescue Elsa would be the best choice for brushing.

Needles and notions:

3.5 mm (US 4) / 80 or 100 cm (32 or 40”) and 40 cm (16”) long circular needles or DPNs for ribbing 

4.0 mm (US 6) / 80 or 100 cm (32 or 40”) long circular needles for Stockinette stitch

Adjust needle size if necessary to get the right gauge.
