Usko sock yarn is 100% natural and biodegradable. Usko is made from Finnish wool combined with tencel, wood fibre, to add durability and strenght to the yarn. Tencel gives a beautiful shine to the yarn so the yarn can be used for shawls, sweaters and any knitted accessories as well as socks.
For socks we recommend a tight knit that is strengthened by the heel. For women's socks one skein is enough but we recommend two to be used for bigger ones.
