Pentti sock yarn is 100% natural and biodegradable. Pentti is made from Finnish wool combined with tencel, wood fibre, to add durability and strength to the yarn. Tencel gives a beautiful shine to the yarn so the yarn can be used for shawls, sweaters and any knitted accessories as well as socks.
For socks we recommend a tight knit that is strengthened by the heel. One skein of yarn is enough for women's socks but we recommend two to be used for bigger ones. Pentti yarn can be used for any pattern with DK weight yarn.
