Usko, aran/worsted
Usko sock yarns suit many different uses, the blend between Finnish wool and tencel wood fiber feels nice in sweaters and other accessories.
You can find the pattern for Usko wool socks on our website, but only in Finnish. we recommend 3,5mm as the needle size and a tight knit since wool loosens up a bit in use. We also recommend a strengthened knit by the heel.
For sweaters made from Usko the recommended needle size is 4-5 mm. Usko can also be used in Icelandic sweaters to replace Lettlopi. Many popular Rauma sweaters have also been made from Usko.
