The wool we use is all Finnish. All our yarns are soft and have been carefully washed to preserve the natural lanolin which makes the yarns feel even softer, and they don’t dry your hands when knitting.
Lamb wool is gotten from the first time a sheep's wool is sheared and it's the softest wool you can get from sheep. Lamb wool is used in Unelma fluffy yarn which suits even those who normally get itchy when wearing woolly clothes.
Tilta and Manta have gotten their names from Vuonue's own mother sheep even though the wool comes from many different sheep farms. Both yarns are suitable for sweaters, mittens, etc. Manta has been popular for Icelandic sweaters.
